Telestroke health program launch

Big news yesterday for the Telestroke health program. The Federal and NSW State Governments further embraced telehealth with the launch of a joint $21.7 million Telestroke health program at Dubbo Hospital.

Designed to improve health outcomes for stroke victims living in regional NSW, the program connects hospitals with the specialist stroke physicians they need. The program is currently being rolled out to seven hospitals and will eventually be available in all hospitals across the state.
